Murray Fraser
Originally from Falkirk, Scotland, Murray started performing aged ten as part of his local children’s theatre group. Initially thinking of it as a hobby, Murray grew more and more enthusiastic about his craft before deciding to make acting his desired career path. With this in mind, he took a two year Musical Theatre Course at the Dance School of Scotland in Glasgow where he received full-time training in acting, singing and dance. As part of the course Murray played the role of Conrad Birdie in Bye Bye Birdie at the Glasgow Citizens Theatre and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, giving Murray fantastic experience of life as a professional actor.
Passionate about becoming an actor, and inspired by his elder brother who trained at drama school in Scotland, Murray decided to audition for drama schools. He was delighted to be offered a place at LAMDA as a Genesis scholar and he will graduate with a BA (Hons) in Professional Acting in July 2016.
