Carrie Cracknell nominated for Evening Standard Theatre Award

Young Vic Genesis Fellow Carrie Cracknell has been nominated in the Best Director category of the 2012 Evening Standard Theatre Awards for her critically-acclaimed production of A Doll’s House. Hattie Morahan, who plays Nora in the Ibsen play, is nominated for Best Actress, and set designer Ian MacNeil is in the running for Best Design.

On 12 November the judging panel – including theatre journalists Henry Hitchings, Georgina Brown, Susannah Clapp, Libby Purves, Charles Spencer, Matt Wolf and Sarah Sands – will decide the shortlist, before the winners are announced on 25 November.
