Bolshoi graduate Natalie Carter gives a little back
Monday, 1 July 2013
Since returning to London from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy as the first ever female British graduate, Natalie Carter has been doing her bit to give a little of her expertise back to the community. Within days of returning she enrolled in the London Russian Ballet School where she is part of the ‘Kids Love London’ charity, taking subsidised classical ballet lessons into less-privileged schools in Lambeth.
Natalie has also been helping Eton College raise funds for their scholarship programme, to ensure that boys from all walks of life have a chance to attend the prestigious school.
Natalie performed a solo contemporary piece choreographed by Vladimir Varnava, principal dancer and choreographer of the Mariinsky Theatre in front of an invited audience.
