Genesis Fellow Natalie Abrahami directs Beckett at the Young Vic

Natalie Abrahami directs her first production as Genesis Fellow at the Young Vic, Samuel Beckett’s surreal masterpiece Happy Days, which runs from 23 January to 8 March. Olivier Award-winning stage and screen actress Juliet Stevenson (Truly Madly Deeply, Death and the Maiden) takes on the role of Winnie, the hopeful heroine trapped in a scorched wasteland keeping her despair at bay.

The third Genesis Fellow at the Young Vic, Natalie began her tenure in April 2013, as a successor to Carrie Cracknell, with whom she co-ran the Gate Theatre from 2007-2012. The Genesis Fellowship is a two-year grant that enables its recipient to work closely with artistic director David Lan as they continue to develop their craft as a theatre director.For more information about Happy Days and to book tickets, visit the Young Vic website.
