Genesis LAMDA alumnus Paul Tinto gives world premiere

Genesis LAMDA alumnus Paul Tinto takes to the stage in the world premiere of Operation Crucible, fellow LAMDA alumnus Kieran Knowles’ debut play, set against the backdrop of the Sheffield Blitz. The story focuses on the lives and discussions of four men trapped inside the ruins of the Marples Hotel after a Luftwaffe bombing campaign to wipe out Sheffield’s thriving steel works.
The world premiere took place at the Finborough Theatre, Earls Court, on 1 December and comes after two years of researching, devising and writing with fellow LAMDA alumni Salvatore D’Aquilla and Joshua Mayes-Cooper. The performance runs until 17 December.
