Friday, 18 October 2013

Genesis LAMDA Scholar Abu Salim captivates the audience in Aaron Sorkin’s riveting courtroom drama A Few Good Men which runs until 30 October at the LAMDA Lindbury Studio.

Acclaimed on Broadway and subsequently made into an Oscar-nominated film in 1992, A Few Good Men tells the story of military lawyers at a court-martial. A young Navy lawyer is assigned to defend two Marines on trial for the murder of one of their platoon members and soon discovers a murky world of disloyalty and corruption in his quest for the truth. Abu Salim stars as Lt. Col. Nathan Jessup and fellow Genesis LAMDA scholar Sam McAvoy also impresses as Cmdr. Walter Stone.

For further information, please see LAMDA’s Autumn season brochure. To book tickets, call the box office on 0844 847 055 or email boxoffice@lamda.org.uk. The production will also play at the Old Laundry Theatre in Bowness, Cumbria on Friday 25 October.
