Genesis Sixteen 2 celebrate with free public concert at St Martin in the Fields

The second year’s intake on the Genesis Sixteen programme celebrates the end of year’s course with a free public concert at St Martin in the Fields on Saturday 20 July at 12.30pm. The group will perform a selection of works ranging from Byrd to MacMillan, interspersed by smaller consort pieces by Weelkes, Ramsey and East. For more information click here.

The preceding evening, the group will be performing Evensong at St Giles Cripplegate at 6pm which is being recorded by BBC Radio 3 for broadcast on 28 August. John Studzinski, Chairman and founder of the Genesis Foundation will be giving the reading. It will be broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on Monday 28 August.

The cohort will also make their debut appearance singing live on BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’ on Thursday 18 July at 4.30pm.
