Joanna Piotrowska’s photography exhibited in Ireland
Thursday, 31 May 2012
Royal College of Art Genesis Photography Scholar Joanna Piotrowska is showing new work in a group exhibition of contemporary photography at the Basement Project Space in Cork, Ireland, from 8 to 16 June.
‘The Suspension of History’ brings together the ambitious work of five artists from different countries who are currently undertaking an MA in Fine Art Photography at the Royal College of Art. Engaging with the subject of history, the artists query historical representation in varying ways: the official and unofficial, personal or universal, factual or fictive.
Joanna will take part in a Q&A with her fellow exhibiting artists, Michal Baror, Beth Atkinson, Elisabeth Molin and Patrick Hough on 9 June at 1pm.
Joanna is the second Genesis Photography Scholarship at the Royal College of Art (2011-13). For more information about this partnership, please click here.
