National Theatre to broadcast Carrie Cracknell’s Medea nationwide

Former Genesis Young Vic Fellow Carrie Cracknell’s production of Euripides’ Greek tragedy Medea will be broadcast in cinemas nationwide on Thursday 4 September as part of National Theatre Live. The live relay will be from the National’s Olivier Theatre with varying dates internationally and encore screenings to follow. The play stars Helen McCrory in the lead role, famous for her roles in The Queen and the Harry Potter films.
