Time Out readers name Café Oto one of the best things to do in London
Monday, 30 April 2012
Café Oto has been named in Time Out’s ‘101 things to do in London’ feature as one of the best places for an unorthodox evening, as voted for by readers.
Café Oto presents experimental music and sound art in a Hackney warehouse, and last month Hamish Dunbar, its Founder and Director, was announced as the inaugural winner of the £25,000 Genesis Prize for arts mentors.
“For those who like their live music challenging, unpredictable, improvised or just plain weird, Dalston’s Cafe Oto is the nuts. With ‘an intimate vibe, spot-on acoustics and beers from the Kernal microbrewery,’ says Jonathan Douglass, ‘it’s every muso’s dream venue.”
