The Genesis Sixteen training programme
Monday, 7 October 2013
In this film Harry Christophers, Founder and Conductor of Genesis Sixteen, Eamonn Dougan, Associate Conductor of The Sixteen, and current members of Genesis Sixteen tell us what it’s like to be in the choral ensemble and why the training programme is so important to the next generation of talented young singers.
Genesis Sixteen is The Sixteen’s training programme which aims to nurture students with exceptional musical ability and specifically to bridge the gap from student to professional practitioner.
“Our priority is to identify the next generation of ensemble choral singers and to give them the opportunity to train at the highest level. We are delighted that the generosity of the Genesis Foundation has made this possible.”
